Premier acte music was founded in 1994 by David Boostman and was from its foundation on, a soundtrack compatible music source. David's music has been for years broadcasted on some European TV programs but also landed in club and electro FM radios in 2007. Since 2012, Premier acte produces Boostman family, a new electro pop band including some members of the boostman family including close music family members. 2017 is a year of landing for a few projets, including Amy Only.
ELECTRO POP BAND
The electro/pop band boostman family, founded in 2012, is composed of different artists from the same family, of which Amy and David are the visible part. Asked about where boostman family positions itself in the current musical panorama, David Boostman defines its fun and timeless music genre: “We make pop music that resembles us, that make us want to dance, dream and think, by ourselves, with our family or friends. I think people will still be able to enjoy it in 10 or 20 years and this doesn’t mean our music does not fit in the present time”. Amy adds: “Dad is quite sharp on his electronic arrangements while he often tells me smiling that my composing influences are more “jazzy”.
AMY ONLY
Amy delivers sweet meaningfull tracks that talk about life and emotions. Amy is writing most of her lyrics and produces unforgettable moods and melodies. Her songs are minimalistic and try to recapture the simplicity and emotion of her initial voice and guitar recordings that most of the time starts any song's production as a reference. Authenticity could be her motto.
DAVID BOOSTMAN
David's music is versatile. David produces either complex orchestral scores or simple pop or club tracks. He worked with the French scene as an arranger and remixer and is appreciated for catchy melodies and emotional arrangments. His music is often a fusion of genres and moods and stands often between the two sides of the atlantic ocean. He likes telling stories with sounds and this is why his music was most of the time used for soundtracks.
